Goku has become bored with his mundane life on Earth after defeating Boo. Despite his wife Chi-chi’s urging for him to find a job, his obsession with training and fighting stronger foes consumes him. Meanwhile, Beerus, the God of Destruction, and his assistant Whis travel the cosmos in search of excitement and sustenance. After destroying a helpless victim, Beerus remembers fragments from his dreams about a mysterious entity known as the “Super Saiyan God” and becomes obsessed with finding this elusive being. Is this the opportunity for Goku to discover his purpose once more?
