Miya Nekoma stepped into high school with a bold entrance, eager to break free from her mundane reputation. Seeking change, she decided to join the Light Music Club but was sidetracked by Hiyo Takemi, a spirited shakuhachi flute player, who introduced her to the traditional Japanese instruments of Wagakki. This introduction led them to a concert featuring Japan’s foremost traditional/modern fusion band, where Miya was mesmerized by the Tsugaru-shamisen, a three-stringed lute.
With Hiyo by her side, Miya delved into the world of traditional Japanese music. As she met new acquaintances and friends, she worked towards fulfilling her dream of sharing her newfound passion with others.
